Pear and Brie Crostini

Recipe: 

INGREDIENTS

Organic French baguette

Olive oil

Salt and pepper

Creamy brie (or another soft cheese)

1 pear

Prosciutto

Arugula

Local honey

 

INSTRUCTIONS

Slice the baguette into ½ inch rounds. Brush with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and bake at 375°F for 8 to 10 minutes until golden and crisp.

Meanwhile, slice the pear into thin half moon pieces. Spread each crostini with brie, top with pear, gently folded prosciutto, and a leaf of arugula. Drizzle lightly with honey.

Serve with a chilled glass of Kono Sauvignon Blanc.
